Click with Your Audience: Build Confidence & Impact in Online & Conference Presentations
Jul 18, 2025
Do you remember that time I got caught on a live international stream with my pants down? Oh boy, for 15 minutes I was so embarrassed and just wanted to fall in a heap so I could slide away from the camera's eye. But I didn't. I acted as thought nothing was unusual, and kept speaking. I had all sorts of noise going on inside my head, but my hope that there was nothing wrong was stronger. My knowledge of a particular statistic was even stronger...and I clung to that! It worked. The 75% statistic saved my behind. Literally. More about that stat coming.
On Friday 25th July at 1pm AEST, I am doing a live talk with the amazing Izelle Labuschange. I need you to come to learn about the stat that saved my behind and will also give you immense confidence. You see, the more I tell the true story about what happened that day, the less fear and inferiority other people have when they get up to speak.
The chat is aimed at those of us in Higher Degrees by Research - those of us who have to present our research often but may not have the skills to make our research stand out above all others. I know my tips work because when I've followed them, I won awards for academic presentations.
I've trained as a speaker with Soness Stevens and then how to set up a world class speaker's business with Andrew Griffiths. I invested in myself to learn the skills of speaking and creating a speaker's business. I invested in myself rather than a house or a car because then nobody can take that investment away from me. I hold my investment portfolio in my head and heart. It is that which pays dividends.
I want you to come and participate in this chat. I want to chat with you about five things that will make a HUGE difference to your presentations. You get my expensive investment for FREE.

I look forward to chatting with you on Friday 25th July at 1pm AEST.
